The 8th Annual Brattleboro Literary Festival will be held on October 2nd through October 4th,2009 in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont.

This is a three-day celebration of those who read books, those who write books, and of the books themselves. Authors will be signing books and there will be readings, panel discussions and special events featuring emerging and established authors.

The Vermont Arts Council is collaborating with Vermont visionary Lyman Orton to produce this event in which the exhibit portrays issues identified as essential to Vermont’s future. This groundbreaking art project is traveling the state in two concurrent exhibitions.

The Vermont Fair started in 1846 with a large agricultural background, but nowadays, it offers more than that. This year the Vermont Fair will start on September 4th thought September 13th.

The Vermont Fair offers a great variety of activities from cattle, sheep, goat and horse shows to helicopter rides. There will be performances by some of Nashville’s top musicians, a Demolition Derby, Monster Trucks and over 30 amusement park rides and games.
